ItalianCarFest '06
ItalianCarFest '06 was our fourth show and our first year at Oak Grove Park on the shore of Lake Grapevine.
What a success!
Tom Tjaarda, designer of the Fiat 124 Spider and DeTomaso Pantera (among others), was our honored guest.
Mr. Tjaarda attended the Friday evening reception, the Saturday show, the Sunday brunch and gave a presentation at the Saturday evening dinner.
For 2006, we had over 140 show-quality automobiles, plus 18 two-wheelers. The featured marque was Alfa Romeo. On display were some seldom-seen classics usually exclusive to museums. The featured model was the DeTomaso Pantera. Pantera enthusiasts seized the occassion and brought out the largest number of Panteras since their national convention in Las Vegas.
